The fourth treasure is knowledge.

We have so many obscurations and so much ignorance that our knowledge is very limited. We lack the kind of knowledge which grants a clear comprehension of what activities are to be adopted and abandoned in order to quickly realize benefits for both ourselves and others. To have an extremist or one-sided focus narrows the mind and is no practice at all. As you come to understand the mind, your capacity for love and compassion expands. Developing this type of knowledge is actually the essence of our practice. Study and meditate as much as you can to mature this aspect of yourself. Open your mind to the wisdom received from the ten directions.
